Summary: The Owners and player came to an agreement allowing this year NBA season to be played. The season was in danger of not being played because the players and owners had a very different idea of fair pay for the league. This deal will resolve everything

Sports World: He was the first pick of last years draft and he is already getting into trouble. He might cause problems with his teammates and cause him to get traded/sign with a different team. He needs to get his act together.

Summary:  Suh did a cheap shot during the game on Thursday. While the other player was down Suh stomped on his chest getting him kicked out of the game and most likely get a 2 game suspension. This will affect there team because next week they need him because they are playing a great team.

Sports World: This means the best hockey player in the league is back on the ice and ready to bring his team back to the Stanley Cup. He is the deadliest player in the world. He will be limited but he will be in the lineup for the first time for over a year.

Question: Will he get re-injuried 

Summary: Sidney Crosby is back from the concussion he got from around a year ago. He will be played limited but he is in the lineup. He was on record past last year when he got injured and his team went from the best team to just an average team.

Sports World: This gives other teams an advantage to make a late run at the playoffs. The Bears will be very weak with there star QB out for the year. There defense would have to step up as well as Matt Forte one of the best RB is the game.

Summary: Jay Cutler broke his thumb on his throwing hand that will keep him off the field for the remainder of the season. The Bears will have to figure out how to handle the situation because they need to find another way to win.

comeback player

The comeback award was established in 2001 and it is for a man or women who play collegiate basketball student-athletes in all NCAA division levels. It is for a team player or a whole team who show spirit and courage throughout the year.

Dallas Blocker was a basketball player who played for Youngstown State University and won the Jimmy V comeback award because of his strength of not giving up after he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He endured chemotherapy 6 hours 5 days a week. After 7 months he was back in the starting line up for his team. He deserved this award because he beat out cancer and never gave up.

Dawn Evans a basketball player for James Madison won the Jimmy V comeback player award. She was diagnosed with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis a disease that attacks the kidneys. She only missed 3 out of 60 games in her career. Her determination helps her not quit and give up. This as helped her gain respect from her teammate, coaches, and medical personnel. As well as being a leader she has broke around 40 school records. She never quit and this helped her get recognized by the league.
